Kevin Colligan is an Internet exec with a rare blend of content, creative and technical chops. He’s big on live event coverage and streaming video, and has led digital teams covering the Super Bowl (for FOXsports.com), five World Series (MLB.com) and two GRAMMY Awards (GRAMMY.com.)

Way back in 2001, as Executive Producer for MLB.com, Kevin wrote the functional spec for the proprietary CMS that still runs all Major League Baseball sites. Years later, he happily learned about Drupal and worked with Team Lullabot to build a Drupal-powered GRAMMY.com that (easily) withstood 30+ million pageviews on Music’s Biggest Night … while serving up winners and news content in near real-time.

Kevin is currently Senior Director, Digital Media & Technology for The Recording Academy. He has previously worked as VP of Content/Executive Producer for the start-up Active.com and was a mild-mannered newspaper reporter in the olden days when people actually paid for news printed on dead tree pulp.
